The process

A phlebotomy process is involved whereas a blood sample is taken which is then placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the sample. 

Micro-needling is then used to traumatise the skin because this helps to stimulate growth factors and to enhance the process further hyaluronic acid and collagen products are also introduced at this point.  This process of micro-needling prepares the skin for the application of the platelets which are then administered to the area via small injection and/or further micro-needling.  To finish, the face has a gauze mask applied to help tighten the skin and for further platelets to be absorbed into the skin.

Alternatively the plasma rich platelets are injected into multiple sites on the skin.

Platelets are rich in growth factors that encourage your collagen to grow and regenerate tissue. They are also antioxidising and hydrating, making them an effective, natural facial treatment.
