Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides treatment is a new concept of regenerative medicine, helping boost collagen production, leading to skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, improved skin elasticity and hydration.

How do Polynucleotides work?

Polynucleotides (filtered and purified DNA fragments extracted from salmon sperm) attract water molecules, which work to improve skin hydration.  They work on the fibroblast cells (your very own collagen factories) and when injected into your skin your collagen increases in that area reducing fine lines and wrinkles and promoting  a thicker, healthier epidermis, thus tightening the skin

They also utilise an anti-free radical action, acting as a scavenger of OH hydroxyl radicals which tend to accumulate as a result of stress, cell damage or external agents such as UV rays.

The DNA fractions initiate your body’s natural fibroblast production, resulting in increased collagen and a thicker, healthier epidermis.

What areas can be treated with Polynucleotides ?

The  eye area especially under eyes is a very common place to treat with polynucleotides.

Heavy upper lids, crepey under eye areas, tear troughs causing dark circles, forehead, crow’s feet, mid and lower face and neck can all be treated.

Hair loss also responds, as do all areas of skin over the whole body, such as inner arms, tummies and knees.

Acne scarring, stretch marks, Rosacea and inflammation have all been seen improvement with this treatment

and whats more…..

The Polynucleotides help to prepare the skin to be more receptive to medical aesthetic, and anti-ageing treatments such as radiofrequency, fillers, and needling.

It is a relatively quick treatment of approximately 30 – 45 minutes, if required anaesthetic cream may be applied (typically used around the delicate eye area)

Results can last 6-9 months.

The recommended protocol is three sessions, four weeks apart, followed by a further treatment around every six months for optimum results.
