Aftercare following Treatment for this procedure

Full details of aftercare will be explained at your appointment and you will also be sent a copy of the aftercare for best outcome for your treatment healing.

Following treatment ensure you follow the aftercare advice to avoid unwanted reactions or infections:

• Do not touch the treated area and do not, under any circumstances remove any scabs that may appear.
• Avoid excessive (sweaty) exercise until scabbing occurs
• Avoid hot and humid holidays until 2 weeks post treatment
• Apply aftercare product regularly, with a clean fresh cotton wool, until the area has completely healed.
• Aftercare products recommended for use is: Witch hazel gel until the area is healed (we will supply you with enough gel for aftercare). This can be followed by aloe vera gel if desired. Apply twice a day or as often as required under usual day/night cream. Apres Clear can be substituted for the witch hazel gel and offer additional anti-bacterial properties, ask the clinic if you would like some of this on your next treatment if required.
• The treatment area can be washed or cleansed using a gentle soap free/perfume free cleanser. Gently pat the area dry.
• No swimming, saunas, steam rooms, facial steaming, exfoliation, scrubs, waxing and other beauty treatments, until the area has completely healed.
• Please avoid U.V. exposure as much as possible and cover up with hats or parasol.
• Avoid using any possible skin sensitisers or irritants such as deodorants, fake tan products, perfumes, and perfumed body lotions on the area (if relevant).
